Meusic app privacy and services

The maintained Meusic app privacy policy covers the app and its companion services. Profiles and social posts use Apple iCloud and CloudKit. The app’s Cloudflare companion handles authentication for its messaging service, private messaging, blocks and safety reports, moderation-related processing, and deletion work. Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted.

An accepted deletion request provides a durable receipt; associated cleanup and Apple authorization revocation can continue asynchronously. A receipt confirms acceptance, not completed erasure. Production services and complete cleanup remain release-verification gates. See the maintained app account-deletion guide or Meusic app support.

This page separately covers visits to meusic.co and support correspondence. App information below is a summary; use the maintained app notice for current app-specific practices and limitations.

1. Scope and contact

Eateri, Inc. (United States), operating as Meusic (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This notice covers visits to meusic.co and support correspondence. The maintained app privacy policy linked above covers the Meusic app and its companion services. Contact support@eateri.co for privacy questions or requests. This website does not offer account registration, take payments, or collect newsletter signups.

The app stores some preferences locally and uses device Keychain storage for account credentials. It does not receive your Apple ID password. Lyric lookup requests include song title, artist, and, when available, album and duration; the provider also receives normal network request information.

3. Why information is used

Meusic uses information to provide account and social features, respond to support requests, perform music actions you request, and address service reliability and safety. The current app disclosures state that Meusic does not sell personal information or use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. The current website has no advertising pixels. Cloudflare injects a website performance beacon into the live pages.

4. Sharing and service providers

  • Other people: profile details, posts, and club activity may be visible to other users according to the feature you use. Messages are intended for their recipients. Recipients can copy or screenshot what you share; do not share content you need to keep confidential.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple provides authentication; iCloud and CloudKit store account and social data; MusicKit supports Apple Music features. Apple operates these services under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • LRCLIB: the app requests lyrics from LRCLIB using song metadata. Availability and accuracy are not guaranteed.
  • Cloudflare: hosts and protects meusic.co. Its separate app companion handles messaging-service authentication, email identity records and service-issued sessions, private messages, blocks, safety reports, moderation-related processing and deletion work, as described in the maintained app privacy policy. Cloudflare processes website requests under its privacy policy.
  • Resend: delivers one-time email sign-in codes and receives the destination email address and code for delivery.
  • Email services: support correspondence is handled through the email services used to send and receive it.

Safety reports are not public posts. Reports may be reviewed and resolved separately from content removal. If authorized moderation confirms a removal, eligible reported content may be removed or replaced with a removal marker. Access is intended for authorized moderation handling. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable law or protect people and the service. Provider processing can take place outside your region; this page does not promise storage in a particular country.

5. Your choices and requests

  • Edit available profile information within the app.
  • Change Media & Apple Music and notification permissions in iPhone Settings.
  • Use available content deletion, reporting, and blocking controls.
  • Request account deletion in Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Read what deletion covers.
  • Email support@eateri.co to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your information, or to raise a privacy concern.

Rights depend on the law that applies to you. We may need information to verify that a request relates to your account; do not send identity documents or passwords unless a secure, necessary verification process has been explained. Where applicable, you may object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, appeal a request decision, or complain to a privacy regulator. Withdrawing permission does not undo earlier permitted processing.

6. Retention and security

Account data supports the account and features you use. For app deletion, an accepted request receipt confirms acceptance, not completed cleanup; associated processing can continue asynchronously. See the maintained app account-deletion guide for the scope and limitations. Limited safety-report records may require separate retention or anonymization for safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or disputes. Copies saved independently by other people are outside Meusic’s control. For certain friendship requests with uncertain outcomes, Meusic retains a permanent pseudonymous request marker after account deletion to prevent the request from being recreated during recovery. The marker contains no email address or account ID and is not used for sign-in or a profile.

A final retention schedule for support correspondence, safety reports, and provider backups has not yet been published. Contact us for the current status of a specific request. No fixed deletion deadline or immediate erasure from all backups is promised here.

Meusic relies on platform access controls and encrypted network connections, but no service can guarantee complete security. Direct messages should not be treated as an end-to-end encrypted channel.

7. Age requirements

Meusic’s minimum user age is 13. A higher age or parental permission may be required by local law. Meusic is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child below the applicable age has provided personal information, contact support so the account and information can be reviewed.

8. Changes to this policy

The date at the top identifies this version. We will update these disclosures when the service or its data practices change. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through an appropriate service notice. See Cookies & storage for website technology details.
